Infrastructure Planning

There is always a need to look to the future and ensure what infrastructure we create today is able to cope in 30 to 50+ years time. At C & P we work with local authorities to design and prepare this infrastructure, by using complex analysis of systems and efficiencies along with working with other discipline to ensure all objective are met.

We have experience in suburb and town water reticulation analysis including water allocation and quality, Sewerage network capacity and other infrastructure requirements such as schools, airports shops and similar.

Understanding and being part of these processes ensures that when we give advice, we understand the implications and possible costs that may be involved.

Some of our Key personnel’s project experience is as follows:

♦ Cockatoo Coal Baralaba Miners Accommodation Villages and town Infrastructure Studies: Undertook investigations into sites owned by the mines for suitability of miner accommodation, including investigation into town upgrade requirements for all civil infrastructure. Stage 1 of this project is still underway, with use modification applications and building application being prepared.

♦ Paradise Wetlands Planning study for Brisbane City Council. Studies included feasibility of sewer mining, stormwater harvesting and water reuse and dual reticulation.
